Offer Made

Friday, October 16 we put in an offer on a little horse farm in Smithfield. Five acres, three pastures, a barn and a riding ring. Room for Hammy to stretch out.

It's a backup offer, so someone else is still ahead of us in line, and we're waiting to see if their contract falls through. We're not counting chickens yet (we don't have any chickens yet either), but we're feeling good about it.

We're a city girl and her geeky husband who swapped sidewalks for a modest little horse farm. Neither of us grew up on one, so every first (bushhogs included) earns a shiny badge. Have a look around, check the farm weather, and cheer us on.
